Ballistix Elite 32GB DDR4-3600 Memory Kit Review

Package and its Contents

As I already mentioned earlier, the Ballistix Elite memory is available in a single, dual, or quad pack. In this case, we have a nice looking box which contains four 8GB modules. The box protects memory well for the time of transport and also presents excellent. The packaging is well described, so there are no problems to check what we can find inside.

ELITE存储器比标准DDR4高,但大多数现代化的冷却器均旨在支持内存模块的非标准高度。如果我们决定水冷,那么确保我们不会有任何问题。

Ballistix Elite memory has no LED illumination what for some users is an advantage. There are other Ballistix memory series which support additional light effects. It doesn’t change the fact that the Elite series look fantastic, and there are no similar looking memory modules on the market.

Under the aluminum heatsinks, we will find Micron IC what is not a surprise since Ballistix is a gaming brand of Micron Corporation. Micron IC is also showing excellent compatibility and stability.

Above photos are presenting the actual test platform so the i9-7900X processor and EVGA X299 Dark motherboard.

Performance and stability have been tested on many motherboards, but as I already said, we will focus on the most popular quad channel chipset – Intel X299 while additional overclocking tests will be performed in a dual channel on the Z390 chipset.
