Bose QuietComfort Earbuds with Powerful Noise Cancellation

I’ve always liked Bose’s powerful noise cancellation features on their earphones and headphones, and now it appears they’ve taken this feature and put on their QuietComfort Earbuds with offer 11 levels of noise cancellation!

Taken fromEngadget… it’s September 2020 and Bose is finally ready to fully reveal the Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700 and Sport 500 true wireless products. However, there’s a new wrinkle in the narrative: both models have been renamed. The former are now called theQuietComfortEarbuds— taking on the label of the company’s popular noise-cancelling over-ear headphones. The latter are now simply known asBose Sport Earbuds

As the name suggests, the QuietComfort or QC Earbuds are the high-end noise-cancelling model. And Bose is making some big promises when it comes to performance. The company says these true wireless earbuds are “the most effective noise cancelling in-ear headphones ever” thanks to multiple microphones, a proprietary ANC (active noise cancellation) chip and a new algorithm. Bose says the system can respond to environmental distractions with the appropriate noise-blocking signal “in less than a fraction of a millisecond.” The company also explains that its StayHear Max tips help physically isolate sounds with a “soft-yet-tight seal.”

Like recent Bose headphones, the QC Earbuds offer 11 levels of noise cancellation. You can also choose from 11 levels of noise control, or ambient sound, so you determine how much outside clamor you let in. Both settings are customizable inside the Bose headphones app. The company also says the QC Earbuds each weigh about the same as a quarter (0.3 ounces) which should help in the comfort department. And that’s good, because based on the product images, these buds appear to be quite large. What’s more, the buds have a fin to help keep them in place. In terms of battery life, Bose says you can expect up to six hours on the earbuds themselves and two full charges inside the case for an additional 12 hours of listening time.

The QC Earbuds will cost $279.95 when they arrive on September 29th.
