Enermax Revolution DUO 700W 80+Gold PSU Review

Specifications

Below label shows all voltages and maximum load. Total power is specified at maximum of 700W constant load.

As most higher PSU series, also Revolution DUO has single 12V line which is perfect for high wattage graphics cards and processors. Most new devices are using only 12V but 3.3V and 5V rails are still in use.

的Revolution DUO 700W doesn’t have modular build what is not so common in new high-end PSU series. It has its advantages, especially when in use is more devices. When modular PSU is in use with more devices then it’s required to use most if not all additional cables so depends on PC setup we can see it as good or bad side of the design.

Since the Revolution DUO is designed for PC cases with shroud which is hidding the cables then at least for me it’s not an issue.

Package and its Contents

Inside the classic type box we can find the PSU, a pouch with Enermax logo, short user’s manual, cable straps and the power cable. In our version it’s EU power connector but this PSU is available with all available connectors, depends where you want to use it.

Voltage is switching automatically between 110V and 230V.

的only thing which I would change would be cables, Since it’s high-end series then I wish to see whole black and maybe even flat cables. We are receiving set of quite long cables with nice looking sleeving, which is however not covering everything. Some enthusiasts can see it as disadvantage.
