Now for a quick break down of the thermals. The constant air movement is really beneficial. This really shows not only in motherboard temps but because you have a fan directly below you graphics, you will seen a dramatic decrease in those temperatures. In fact compared to an open test bench without any air flow I recorded idle temps of a RTX 3070 around 49 degrees Celsius. Mind you this is with the fan stop active. With the DF700 I watched those temps decrease to 42 degrees. This applied to every part of the system as well. The motherboard VRM’s ran 4-5 degrees cooler. Now when everything is in full tilt the temps were pretty much the same as my open test bench. That is saying a lot when you are comparing a case to an open test bench. This case has great cooling capabilities some of the best thermals when comparing cases to cases. This is all thanks to the F-LUX cooling platform. Move the fresh air in and get the hot stagnate air out and you are good to go.
