The experience was fantastic. Seeing this wide of a monitor seems a little unnatural at first but after using it for several hours, going back to 16:9 kind of felt that way! I feel a little cheated now if I was to game on a 16:9. I have been a user of a VA panel for some time even when the best they could do was a 5ms response. I am not entering competitions and rarely noticed the lag so having to sacrifice that for great color and contrast seemed like a great trade off. But now we have a monitor in front of us capable of 144MHz and a 1ms response. These are great specs and will provide you with enough refresh and response rates. If you are like me and hesitant on an ultrawide, then let me settle you down and tell you the 34″ is a great size. I definitely wouldn’t go any smaller though. I could see my disappointment if the height of the monitor was anything less than this. I have covered a couple of Gigabyte monitor now, both with different panel types, and so far Gigabyte has nailed it, on monitors. The have great performance and are competitively priced. You should take a look at the monitors offered by Gigabyte, you will not be disappointed!
